Music & Healing

As an art form which decorates time, music becomes the safe container which can provide comfort when comfort is needed, an anchor when we need grounding, accompanying the highs and the lows of life. It communicates the core emotional essence of our message whilst cutting through the noise.

All matter is vibration, from the physical to the metaphysical and unseen, where tuning into the right frequencies can allow us to interconnect to something greater than the self - a space where we can resonate and heal.

WaiFung Tsang of Onaya and United Freedom Collective

United Freedom Collective

United Freedom Collective is about the space from which we create, from which things arise. It is a shared space, where we can all meet, if we find access to it.

WaiFung, Onaya COO, carries his holistic approach to healing into the realm of music and sound.

United Freedom Collective was born when WaiFung sang in ceremony alongside his friend and fellow psychedelic researcher and clinician Mathieu Seynaeve, and music producer and yoga teacher Robbie Redway. Then in 2020, in between Covid lockdowns, the trio met for a sound journey in a remote barn on Bodmin Moor.

That weekend - with meditations, mushrooms, cold sea swims, wild walks and medicine songs around stone circles - served to facilitate a space for creating with intent: an intent for the music to offer healing and pleasure, a space for us all to feel free yet connected as the unity that we are.

United Freedom Collective Playing Music

An ever-growing collective, the United Freedom Collective has collaborated with artists such as Falle Nioke, Eliza Shaddad, Jordan Stephens and FACESOUL, as the sound and ethos has continued to develop, influenced by icaros, Chinese plant medicine traditions, Buddhism, Taoism, yoga, Jungian analysis, global healing traditions and the birds and trees of Britain.

Friends and family gather regularly at Robbie’s beachside studio in Margate, writing and recording music to share with the world for years to come.

Music to breathe to

These ambient 20 minute pieces are intended to guide gentle movement, breathing or meditation.

'Coherence' was specifically written for 'coherent breathing’ which helps to balance the nervous system by dampening the sympathetic branch of your nervous system whilst strengthening the parasympathetic branch.

All proceeds go to Heroic Hearts Project UK - a charity facilitating opportunities for healing, by connecting military and emergency services veterans struggling with mental trauma, to progressive therapy retreats around the world.
