Biography

My practice combines Eastern and Western psychotherapeutic methodologies with somatic psychology and ancestral traditions. I am an Integrative Counsellor, Trauma-Informed Somatic Practitioner, Psycho-Spiritual Mentor, Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher and trained psychedelic facilitator. 

I first began working with psychedelic and entheogenic medicine in 2011, which catalyzed my own healing journey. Through these experiences, I was inspired to found Temple Sotto Luce, an organization predicated upon providing well-rounded, holistic containers in which those served can heal, grow, and develop the skills to do their own personal healing work.  

A core focus of my work is somatic psychology (body-oriented therapy that fosters awareness of the body in order to heal) and the nervous system. This work taps into the body’s innate wisdom in order to support the healing of our hearts, psyches, and spirits. 

I am a student of the Shipibo tradition of curanderismo (a holistic approach to healing of mind, body, and spirit), under the Mahua-Lopez lineage, a fervent animist, and I am deeply passionate about seamlessly weaving ancestral and indigenous teachings into modern Western practices.
