Our roots
For nearly a decade the team has operated as the not-for-profit Onaya Science, a group of dedicated multidisciplinary researchers.
The team has a wealth of experience exploring the effects of psychedelic plant medicines on mental health and wellbeing, predominantly in the ceremonial use of ayahuasca in the Amazon rainforest.

Onaya provides expert advice and consultation to those looking to embark on their own research journey - from interested individuals to fully-fledged retreat centers.
We also provide specific expertise on conducting research in collaboration with Indigenous communities in a meaningful and respectful way.
Study Design & Data Collection
Onaya provides a bespoke research package, where we will manage the entire research process, from study design, to data collection and publication in peer-reviewed journals, all according to your specific research aims. For established retreat centers, people with clinics, or individuals looking to provide funding to research a particular area of interest.
Public Speaking & Presentations
The Onaya team have years of experience sharing our findings and discussing a range of topics, encompassing plant medicines, ethics, ceremonial practices, mysticism, pharmacology, and psychotherapeutic benefit.
